Napoli and Roma drew 3–3 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Saturday.

André-Frank Zambo Anguissa opened the scoring with an overhead kick in the 28th minute, and Scott McTominay headed in Matteo Politano's cross three minutes after halftime. Roma came back through Matías Soulé's angled shot and Leonardo Balerdi's close-range finish five minutes later. McTominay put Napoli ahead again in the 83rd, following up after Spinazzola's shot was saved, before Balerdi headed in Wesley's cross in the 89th.

Napoli argued Balerdi had fouled Sam Beukema in the build-up. The goal stood after a VAR review, and Massimiliano Allegri was shown a straight red card after the fourth official drew referee Andrea Colombo's attention to his protests, Africa Soccer reports.

Roma have 18 points from eight games and remain unbeaten. Napoli have 11.
