Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated August 11, 2026
In plain terms: some links on GoalPost earn us a commission if you make a purchase. Here's exactly which ones, and how it works.
The short version
GoalPost is reader-supported in part through affiliate partnerships. When you click certain links on this site and make a qualifying purchase, GoalPost may earn a commission â at no extra cost to you. This is standard practice, disclosed here per FTC endorsement guidance, and every affiliate link on the site carries a sponsored attribute identifying it as such to browsers and search engines.
Whatâs active right now
| Partner | Where youâll see it | Network |
|---|---|---|
| Hotels.com | City, stadium, and match pages (âFind Hotelsâ) | Commission Junction (CJ) |
| Fanatics | Club, national team, and match pages (âShop Official Gearâ) | Impact.com |
These are the only two programs currently earning GoalPost a commission. We only link a partner once their program is approved and configured â if you see a CTA card for a category below that isnât listed here as active, it either links directly to an official source with no commission involved, or it simply wonât render at all (our components are built to show nothing rather than send an untracked or unapproved click).
Other categories on the roadmap
GoalPost has applied to, or may in the future apply to, affiliate programs in a few other categories. None of these are earning a commission today; this list exists so the disclosure stays accurate as programs go live rather than needing you to guess:
- Tickets â ticket links may become affiliate links (e.g. StubHub).
- Travel & experiences â stadium tours and city experiences (e.g. GetYourGuide), and additional hotel/travel partners.
- Dining â reservation links at fan-home venues (e.g. OpenTable).
- Streaming â services for watching matches.
- Betting â sportsbook links, where legally offered. Any live betting link is 18+ only; please bet responsibly, and contact the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-522-4700) if itâs ever a concern for you or someone you know.
Whenever any of these becomes an active, commission-earning program, it will be added to the table above and the âLast updatedâ date on this page will change.
How you can tell
Every affiliate link on GoalPost opens in a new tab and carries rel="noopener noreferrer sponsored" â the sponsored value is the standard technical signal for a paid/affiliate link. Many affiliate cards also carry a short inline note (for example, âBook on Hotels.com â 4% back on every stayâ or a small âAdâ label) at the point of the link itself, not just on this page.
What we donât do
- We donât let commission change what a rating, prediction, or valuation says. GPR, GPS, FMV, and match predictions are computed the same way regardless of any affiliate relationship â see Methodology.
- We donât receive your payment details or purchase history from these networks â only that a referral occurred.
- We donât charge you more for buying through an affiliate link than youâd pay going direct.
