Tasos Douvikas scored in the seventh and 32nd minutes and completed his hat trick in the 57th. Nico Paz, Lucas Da Cunha, Marc-Oliver Kempf, substitute Mattia Liberali, Martin Baturina and Matteo Papaccioli also scored. Ruben Aguilar's volley in the 65th minute was Lens's only goal.
The eight-goal margin equals the competition record shared by Liverpool's 8–0 win over Beşiktaş in 2007 and Real Madrid's 8–0 against Malmö in 2015, beIN Sports and FotMob report.
