Nottingham Forest drew 1–1 at Ipswich Town on Friday night at Portman Road.
Neco Williams put Forest ahead in the 13th minute, finishing first time at the far post from Daniel Muñoz's cross. Ipswich leveled four minutes before halftime when Dara O'Shea's long ball was not dealt with by Xaver Schlager and Nikola Milenković, and Julio Enciso ran clear to finish into the bottom corner.
Forest had most of the chances after that. Liam Delap, facing his former club, headed over and shot narrowly wide, and Leif Davis cleared a Morgan Gibbs-White effort off the line. Issa Diop was booked, not sent off, after a VAR review of his foul on James McAtee early in the second half.
Gary O'Neil's Ipswich have ten points from eight games. Forest have six and one league win. ESPN reports Williams went off late with an arm injury.
