Juventus drew 2–2 with Rennes in Turin on Thursday in the Europa League league phase. Zeki Çelik put them ahead in the fifth minute from Nick Woltemade's pass.

Mousa Al-Tamari leveled ten minutes later from Bryan Reynolds's cross, and Boulaye Dia put Rennes ahead from the spot in the 43rd after Douglas Luiz handled a Mahamadou Nagida volley. Woltemade made it 2–2 with a penalty in the 67th, after Nico González's header struck Reynolds's arm.

Substitute Jhon Lucumí scored in the 88th minute, but VAR ruled him offside when Teun Koopmeiners flicked on the free kick. Luciano Spalletti's side have seven points from three games.
