Genoa beat Juventus 2–0 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday night in the ninth round of Serie A.
Kingsley Ehizibue opened the scoring in the 12th minute, his shot deflecting off Andrea Cambiaso into the top corner. Tommaso Baldanzi, who set up the first, finished a counterattack in the 28th minute to make it 2–0.
Juventus had 63 percent of the ball, ESPN's figures show, but did not score. They have 14 points from nine games, with four wins, two draws and three defeats. Genoa coach Daniele De Rossi said it "means a lot" to beat Luciano Spalletti, his former coach, Football Italia reports.
