Estudiantes and Flamengo drew 0–0 at the Estadio UNO in La Plata on Thursday in the first leg of their Copa Libertadores semifinal. El Tiempo reports Estudiantes created the clearer chances.
Flamengo goalkeeper Agustín Rossi saved from Baltasar Rodríguez in the second minute and denied Tiago Palacios in a goalmouth scramble in the first half, according to beIN Sports, which also reports that Flamengo, the holders, did not register a shot on target.
The return leg is at the Maracanã on Thursday, October 22. The winner meets Palmeiras or Fluminense in the final in Montevideo; Palmeiras won the first leg of the other semifinal 2–1 in Rio.
