Everything you need to know before visiting Maracanã
- •Entry is by facial biometrics in every sector: register in advance with the home club (e.g. fluminense.bepass.com.br or biometria.flamengo.com.br) and carry original photo ID.
- •Away fans have their own sector, entrance and ticket sales; at Fluminense home games it is Setor Norte, Access E (level 2).
- •Food and drink cannot be taken into the stadium, and flares, fireworks and other pyrotechnics are banned.
- •Gates close at the start of the second half, after which police may refuse entry.

Parking
Parking is limited: home clubs sell ticket holders one space each, subject to availability, at the Célio de Barros car park (Gate 11B, Rua Professor Eurico Rabelo). Nearby streets are no-parking on match days and Fluminense advises public transport instead of driving.
Disabled fans are entitled to free tickets under Rio state law but must pre-register and redeem them with the home club (Fluminense links the companion's ticket); entry is by facial biometrics.
