Matchday essentials
Everything you need to know before visiting BC Place
- •Bags: one clear plastic bag up to 12" x 12" x 6" or a small bag up to 6.5" x 8.5" (no backpacks, even clear ones); bag check costs $10 per item.
- •General entrances open 60 minutes before the event start (premium entrances 90), and there is no re-entry at Whitecaps matches, Lions games or concerts.
- •BC Place is cashless (cards, tap and mobile pay); a cash-to-card kiosk at Guest Services turns cash into a voucher for concessions.
- •Supporter Sections 201–207 and 248–254 (the Southsiders are in General Admission Section 254) are for home fans only, with many fans standing; visiting team colors are not permitted there.
- •The retractable roof opens for Whitecaps matches when conditions permit; seated fans stay covered rain or shine, but BC Place advises dressing for the outdoor temperature.
Transit
SkyTrain's Expo Line stops at Stadium–Chinatown station, about a five-minute walk along Beatty Street to Gates A, B and H. Canada Line riders can use Yaletown–Roundhouse station and walk northeast along Mainland Street to Robson Street.
Parking
Parking is in third-party lots around the stadium run by EasyPark, Impark, Indigo and Westpark; the lots closest to the stadium charge $10–$30 during events, and BC Place says transit is the easiest way in.
The 147 Accessible Entrance on Pacific Blvd (below Gate F, across from Plaza of Nations) is the barrier-free drop-off, with a ramp and direct elevator access to all floors. Wheelchair platforms are on Levels 200 and 400 and are booked through Ticketmaster Accessible (1-855-682-6736), with one companion ticket each.
