“A seasoned centre-back who defends with craft, not flash.”
GoalPost verdict

GoalPost read
Pico remains a reliable veteran centre back, but GoalPost trims him for the level he plays at and for being beyond his usual peak window. His recent best at Shamrock Rovers still supports solid value.

Analysis overview
Pico is a old-school organiser at the heart of the back line, happy to keep the game simple and the shape intact. He defends on reading, positioning, and calm intervention rather than recovery pace, stepping in at the right moment and clearing danger without fuss. As a Cape Verde centre-back, he looks built to steady the unit and manage the line with veteran composure.
