MORTEN THORSBY
Midfielder · Cremonese · Serie B
“A midfielder who reads danger before it breaks.”
GoalPost verdict
GoalPost score (GPS)
GoalPost read
Thorsby brings value as a box-to-box midfielder in his prime, with his strongest recent spell at Genoa. The holdback is simple: he is not assured of a starting place, and the league level trims the price.

Analysis overview
M. Thorsby is a box-to-box midfielder who covers ground with purpose, but his real edge is defensive anticipation. He steps into passing lanes early, senses the next threat, and helps turn loose phases into Norway possession. In the prime years of his career, he looks like a steady, high-trust connector who can protect space and keep the team moving.
