MICHAŁ HELIK
Defender · Oxford United · League One
“A no-nonsense centre-back who keeps the line honest.”
GoalPost verdict
GoalPost score (GPS)
GoalPost read
Helik is a veteran centre back in his peak years, with recent form at Huddersfield showing why he holds value. The league step tempers it, and he is not a guaranteed starter.

Analysis overview
Helik is a direct, old-school defender who stays switched on to the shape behind him. He defends the box with timing and contact, stepping in early when danger appears and clearing his lines without fuss. In possession, he keeps it simple and functional, choosing safety over flair as a centre-back should.
