“A no-frills centre-back who keeps Senegal’s line together.”
GoalPost verdict
GoalPost score (GPS)
GoalPost read
F. Mendy is a centre back in his prime, still shaping his peak years, with his best recent form at Amiens. His value is held back by the step up in level and an unproven place in the starting XI.

Analysis overview
F. Mendy is a straight-ahead centre-back who leans on position, timing, and simple defensive decisions. He stays connected to the back line, wins duels without fuss, and looks to clear danger early rather than chase flair. In possession, he keeps the game moving with short, safe passes and a calm first touch.
