ALBERTO PALEARI
Goalkeeper · AEK Larnaca
“A late-career Italian keeper who builds play from the back.”

GoalPost score (GPS)
GoalPost read
A veteran goalkeeper whose value rests on recent Torino form and the trust of experience. A lower-level discount and an uncertain starting role keep him from a stronger verdict, even beyond his usual peak window.

Analysis overview
Paleari operates as a sweeper-keeper first, rushing off his line to compress space and initiate possession through precise distribution. His ball retention under pressure is his calling card—comfortable receiving in tight quarters and launching attacks from deep. High-intensity pressing defines his modern approach; he's constantly scanning and closing windows rather than simply waiting.
