AL MAHDI SOLIMAN
Goalkeeper · Zamalek SC · Premier League
“A commanding late-career presence between the sticks for Egypt.”
GoalPost verdict
GoalPost score (GPS)
GoalPost read
A veteran goalkeeper whose value rests on experience and proven spells at Zamalek SC and Al Ittihad, but the league-level discount keeps the case restrained. He sits past his usual peak window.

Analysis overview
Soliman operates as a sweeper-keeper with sharp distribution, reading the game well off the line and quick to claim loose balls in transition. His positioning is economical rather than acrobatic; he trusts his angles and closes space decisively.
