Nottingham Forest beat Manchester City 3–1 at the City Ground on Saturday in the 10th round of the Premier League.
Jair Cunha took the ball off Joško Gvardiol and scored in the sixth minute, ending Forest's run of four home league games without a goal, The Analyst reports. Delap ran from inside his own half to make it 2–0 in the 18th minute. Rayan Cherki pulled one back with a half-volley soon after halftime, and Delap finished a counterattack off the far post in the 73rd minute after a one-two with Morgan Gibbs-White.
Delap is the second player to score twice in a Premier League game against City after playing for them in the competition, after Nicolas Anelka for Bolton in 2006, according to Opta. City had opened the season with seven straight wins and have now lost three in a row, after defeats to Aston Villa and Brighton. Forest moved up to 16th.
