Manchester United beat Roma 3–2 at Old Trafford on Tuesday in the fourth round of the Champions League league phase.

Matías Soulé put Roma ahead in the 11th minute and Donyell Malen scored a penalty six minutes later. Cunha won a penalty that Bruno Fernandes converted, after a retake, in the 58th minute, Sky Sports reports. Cunha equalized in the 83rd minute after a poor clearance by Leonardo Balerdi and won it three minutes later from Shea Lacey's pass.

Cunha was booked for taking his shirt off in celebration and shown a second yellow card for a late foul in stoppage time. It was United's first win in any competition since September 10, Sky Sports and SPORTbible report. Carrick said, "I am not getting too carried away with things."
