Match Report
Vitesse had to live off fewer openings, and N. Bannis kept them in it. NAC Breda saw more of the ball and moved the game around, but Vitesse carried the sharper threat, taking the lead through Bannis from F. de Carvalho in the 14th minute before C. Brym leveled for NAC on K. Sowah’s pass ten minutes later. Sowah then put NAC in front in the 32nd minute, and for long stretches that looked enough. Bannis had the last word. The Vitesse forward scored again in the 87th minute to pull his side back to 2-2 and earned player of the match for the pair of finishes that rescued a point. The draw leaves Vitesse seventh in the Eerste Divisie on 14 points after nine games, with NAC Breda eighth on 14.
