Match Report
Union Santa Fe had more of the ball and little to show for it. Defensa Y Justicia waited until the half ended to make it count, with J. Gutiérrez finishing D. Barbona’s pass in the 43rd minute and C. Pérez adding the second two minutes later from Gutiérrez’s assist. Union kept the ball, but they never turned that into much in the final third, and by the break Defensa had already done the damage. S. Sosa was sent off in the 76th minute, but the game had long since tilted away from Unión. M. Borgogno earned player of the match with the clean sheet, and Defensa take the three points.
