Match Report
Tondela needed extra time to get past Alverca. Carraca broke the deadlock in the 98th minute, and Tondela finally had the game in hand after a long stretch with nothing to separate them from Alverca. Seven minutes into the first period of extra time, Tiago Dias added the second and left no doubt about the tie. Two goals, both late enough to matter. Tondela move on from the Round of 64, while Alverca’s cup run ends here.
