Match Report
Tigre had the ball and the better chances, but Atletico Tucuman took the one that mattered. Ramiro Ruíz Rodríguez met Juan Infante’s assist in the 72nd minute and finished for 1-0, against the run of what had been a game mostly in Tigre’s hands. Three minutes later, Ruiz Rodríguez was sent off, leaving Atletico to protect the lead with 10 men for the closing stretch. Luis Ingolotti was named player of the match for Atletico after keeping Tigre out whenever the hosts found a sight of goal. Atletico leave with three points; Tigre are left with more of the game than the scoreline shows.
