Match Report
Telstar had more of the ball. Almere City FC had the better chances and used them. Teun Bijleveld broke it open in the 61st minute, finishing to make it 1-0 after Telstar had spent much of the match probing without much bite. Almere stayed patient, then Marley Dors set up Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp for the second in the 80th minute, a finish from a substitute who had just come on and changed the closing stretch. Bijleveld was named player of the match for the goal that set the tone and the influence that went with it. No red cards, no late chaos, just a cleaner Almere edge in the moments that mattered.
