Match Report
Svay Rieng had it broken open by halftime. Juninho Maranhense started it in the 9th minute, Tiago Alves scored twice before the break — first from Takaki Ose, then from Juninho — and Kwame Peprah added the fourth on 42 minutes with Sylvester van de Water’s assist. Tiago kept pulling the strings and was named player of the match, while Ofufu Ibeh came off the bench to make it 5-0 after the hour, set up by Takashi Odawara. Tampines Rovers had almost nothing to show for a tight, even night until Raoul Suhaimi, another substitute, pulled one back in the 90th minute from Takeshi Yoshimoto’s pass. Tampines stay fourth in Group G on 0 points after three games; Svay Rieng move up to second on 4.
