Match Report
Stafford Rangers had this done by the hour. They took control early, with Scott Bakkor finishing in the 5th minute and a second goal before halftime stretching Gateshead’s resistance thin, then came out after the break and added three more without ever letting the tie drift. Joe Dunne was among the scorers, and Stafford kept the ball and the clearer chances while Gateshead rarely threatened in reply. The third and fourth goals, then the fifth on 68 minutes, left no doubt about the direction of the afternoon. Stafford move on; Gateshead’s FA Cup run is over.
