Match Report
Hertha BSC controlled this from the start, with more of the ball and the clearer chances while SSV Jeddeloh rarely threatened. Josip Brekalo broke it open in the 57th minute, finishing Farid Alfa-Ruprecht’s pass to put Hertha in front, and he was named player of the match for the way he kept driving the attack. Six minutes later, Julian Eitschberger added the second from Oluwaseun Adewumi’s assist, and the tie was effectively done there. Jeddeloh never found a response. Hertha move on to the Round of 16, while Jeddeloh’s Pokal run is over.
