Ángel Di María (Rosario Central), rated 8.5
Rosario Central controlled this from the start and never let Huracan turn it into much. Emanuel Coronel opened the scoring in the 20th minute from Jaminton Campaz’s assist, and even after Jorge Francisco Almirón Quintana was sent off in first-half stoppage time, Huracan still found little to work with. Ángel Di María finished it in the 84th minute, turning Franco Ibarra’s pass into the second goal and the closing note. Di María was named player of the match after steering the attack and capping the night himself. Rosario Central take the three points; Huracan leave with nothing and very few moments to point to.
