Reims turned a tight, possession-heavy game into a three-goal spread before Dijon could settle. Dijon had more of the ball, but the chances were thin, and once Yaya Fofana leveled it in the 19th minute from Seydou Dembele’s pass, Reims were the side making the next move: Mohammed Daramy put them in front three minutes later, Daouda Guindo added a third before the break, and Guindo then set up Arone Gadou, who scored off the bench after the restart. Dijon’s own substitute, Yanis Barka, pulled one back late from Brandon Ndezi’s assist, but the match had long since been decided. Fofana earned player of the match for his equalizer and constant edge in the final third. Reims move up to second in Ligue 2 on 17 points after nine games; Dijon sit seventh on 12.
