Samuel Braybrooke (Leicester), rated 8.8
Leicester controlled it and still had to settle for a point. Samuel Braybrooke put Leicester in front inside two minutes from W. Alves’s pass, and for most of the first hour Stevenage were chasing the ball and the game, with little to show for their possession. Ben Broggio leveled in the 22nd minute from Josh Magennis’s assist, but Leicester kept the clearer chances and K. Doyle restored their lead before the hour. Then Tugra Turhan came off the bench and pulled Stevenage level in the 78th minute, finishing the one chance that stuck after a spell of pressure they had not really earned. Braybrooke was named player of the match, and the draw leaves Leicester on 19 points after 14 games, Stevenage on 16.
