Match Report
Estudiantes L.P. dragged a point out of a match it had let get away from it. Instituto Cordoba struck first through Facundo Suárez, then doubled and tripled the lead after the break with Leonel Mosevich and Jhon Córdoba, while Estudiantes were already down to 10 men after Santiago Núñez’s sending-off at 50'. But Estudiantes had spent much of the night on top, with more of the ball and the clearer chances, and the response came from the bench: Guido Carrillo pulled one back, Tiago Palacios made it 3-2, and F. Pérez Escudero finished the comeback with Edwuin Cetré’s assist late on. Pérez Escudero was named player of the match after coming on and deciding the game from the sideline. It ends level, with each side taking a point, and Estudiantes leave with the sharper regret after turning a 0-3 hole into 3-3.
