Lorenzo Riccio (Dordrecht), rated 8.3
VVV Venlo had the sharper edge and left Dordrecht chasing. Dordrecht saw more of the ball, but VVV kept finding the better moments, and Thomas Janssen opened it in the 8th minute before Eanna Clancy and Ismail Oulad M'Hand stretched the lead to 3-0 by the half-hour mark, both of Oulad M'Hand’s goalscoring moves fed by Mohammed Odriss. Lars de Blok made it 4-0 shortly after the break, and only then did Dordrecht get something back through Lorenzo Riccio, set up by Robin van Asten. Rocharnio Lenz, off the bench, added a second late on. Odriss was named player of the match after running the game from the right places and supplying two goals, and VVV’s win keeps them second on 25 points, with Dordrecht 18th on 11.
