Match Report
Heracles had more of the ball, but De Treffers carried the sharper threat and made it count. Mario Borac’s red card in the 55th minute tilted the game their way, and De Treffers pressed higher after that, with Kane Keizer pulling the strings from midfield. In the 61st minute, Keizer slipped Sebastiaan van Bakel in, and Van Bakel finished for the only goal of the night. Keizer was named player of the match for that pass and the control he brought before and after it. Heracles moved the ball, De Treffers had the better chances, and the cup tie was decided by one clean move after the dismissal.
