Mirassol controlled this from start to finish. Chapecoense took the lead in the 12th minute when Kauan finished Giovanni Augusto’s pass, but that was almost all they had to show, and Mirassol kept the ball and the clearer chances around it. Reinaldo leveled from the spot in first-half stoppage time, then Anderson put through his own net in the 57th minute to turn it Mirassol’s way. Kauan still earned player of the match for the home side on a night when he made their only real mark in front of goal. Mirassol leave on 40 points after 34 games; Chapecoense stay on 21.
