Match Report
Boca Juniors had the game by the throat and Talleres Córdoba spent most of it chasing shadows. Matias Galarza put Talleres in front in the 11th minute from Rick’s pass, but Boca answered seven minutes later when Lautaro Blanco found Miguel Merentiel to level it at 1-1. The home side kept control after that, with more of the ball and the clearer chances, and Leonel Flores settled it five minutes into the second half when Milton Delgado picked him out for the winner. Flores was named player of the match after deciding it for Boca. Boca take the three points; Talleres were left with little more than Galarza’s early strike.
