Match Report
Benevento had the better chances, but Catanzaro left with a point and Nicolo Buso’s name on the night. Francesco Salvemini put Benevento ahead from the spot in the 51st minute after an even first half had tilted their way by chance rather than by control, and for long stretches it looked enough. Catanzaro had little going forward until Buso came off the bench and changed the shape of the finish, then struck in the 90+2nd minute to level it at 1-1. He was named player of the match after rescuing the point as a substitute. Benevento stay fifth on 15 points after nine games; Catanzaro remain 20th on five.
