Match Report
Macclesfield waited, then broke Anstey Nomads open after the hour. The first half stayed tight and short on clear chances, with neither side producing much to trouble the other, but George Wilson made the breakthrough in the 57th minute and changed the shape of the tie. Daniel Elliott followed nine minutes later, and Josh Kay added a third in the 71st to leave Anstey chasing a game that had already slipped away. Macclesfield were the sharper side once it mattered. They move on from the FA Cup, and Anstey Nomads’ run is over.
