Oviedo had the better of it, but Almeria had the early goals and nearly all the leverage. Sergio Arribas opened the scoring in the 16th minute from Quim Junyent’s pass, then Miguel de la Fuente made it 2-0 in the 27th after Álex Muñoz picked him out, even as Oviedo kept the ball and the clearer chances. Almeria spent much of the night defending a lead they had not really built through play. Jacobo González came off the bench to pull one back in the 87th, and Jorge Pulido’s own goal in the 90th handed Oviedo the equalizer they had earned more than a quarter hour earlier. Arribas still stood out best, and earned player of the match for Almeria. Almeria stay first in Segunda on 25 points after 11 games; Oviedo are eighth on 18.
