Match Report

Sarmiento Junín took control late and left Aldosivi with nothing from a game that had stayed level for most of the night. J. Marabel put Sarmiento ahead in the 18th minute from Jhon Rentería’s assist, and L. Castro answered two minutes later for Aldosivi after M. García picked him out. After that, Sarmiento kept creating the better chances in an otherwise even game, with J. Mavilla at the center of it. The breakthrough came in the 86th minute, when Mavilla finished J. Herrera’s pass to make it 2-1. Three minutes later, Herrera scored off the bench himself, set up by T. Ayala, to settle it. Mavilla earned player of the match honors for Sarmiento Junín. The win is worth three points and leaves Aldosivi with nothing from a match Sarmiento had edged on the chances before the late finish.
