Al-Qadisiyah FC had this from the start and never let Al Riyadh breathe. Tijjani Reijnders opened it in the 18th minute, Abdullah Al Salem finished Julián Quiñones’s pass before halftime, and Reijnders made it 3-0 just after the break with Quiñones again the provider. Mahamadou Sangare, off the bench, added the fourth from Reijnders’s assist, then Quiñones and Reijnders finished it late, both supplied by Musab Al Juwayr. Reijnders was the player of the match for the first and last goals, plus the pass for Sangare’s strike, and Al-Qadisiyah’s control showed in the way Al Riyadh rarely threatened at all. The result leaves Al Riyadh on 12 points after 12 games and Al-Qadisiyah FC on 28.
