Al-Faisaly FC left Abha with three points and little else to show for the 90 minutes. Abha had the ball more often and carved out the clearer chances, but they kept running into the same problem: more of the game, less in the final scoreline. Then, in the 70th minute, Abdulaziz Al Bishi slipped in Flávio, and he finished the only chance that counted, turning a spell of pressure into a 1-0 lead. Flávio was named player of the match for that decisive strike, and it was enough because Al-Faisaly FC rarely threatened before or after it.
