Marseille are closing in on a deal to sign Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal this summer, according to reports from France.
L'Equipe are reporting that the 25-year-old forward is set to be one of many potential new signings for new manager Roberto De Zerbi at Marseille, with the Italian manager planning to change 80% of the starting lineup.
The Englishman has already agreed personal terms with Marseille ahead of a potential move, according to L'Equipe.
Additionally, Marseille are also making significant progress with Arsenal in the hopes of finding an agreement for Nketiah.
He is being seen as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has swapped Marseille for Al-Qadisah.
Marseille are making plenty of moves in the market, having already sealed deals for Mason Greenwood, Ismael Kone, Bamo Meite, Lillian Brassier, and on Monday, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who has joined on loan with an obligation to buy from Arsenal's rivals Tottenham.
Nketiah is one of the names set to leave Arsenal, with him attracting plenty of interest, not just from Marseille, but also from the Premier League.
He has a contract at Arsenal that lasts until June 2027.
Last season, Nketiah was not a regular starter, constantly rotating with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, yet he still managed 37 games in all competitions, scoring six goals and three assists in the process.
